Everyone spends hours cleaning their house during a week, but have you ever totaled up how many hours you spend cleaning in a week? And if you spend so much time cleaning, shouldn’t your house be spotless?

The average woman spends about 15 hours a week cleaning and the average man spends about 10. So the average is 13 hours a week. Even though most woman work, they still end up doing the bulk of house work; however, men do most of the outdoor chores and the majority of fixes around the home. Plus, they know how to program the remote.:)

Italian women spend the most time cleaning, they spend an average of 21 hours a week cleaning. Plus, Italian homes are much smaller than American homes. So Italian women are spending 4 times the hours to take care of half, or less than half, the space.

What would you do with your time if you had a cleaning service to take care of the majority of cleaning in your home?

A survey was taken that asked what would you do if you had an extra free day.

Women’s Top Five preferred ways to spend Leap Day:

70% Spending time with family

40% Shopping spree

38% Spending the day at a spa

31% Having sex

24% Partying with friends

Men’s Top Five preferred ways to spend Leap Day:

63% Spending time with family

60% Having sex

37% Partying with friends

29% Attending a sporting event or concert

26% Working out

Well, it’s nice we both put family first. Call Glover Cleaning and “Go Have Fun, The Cleaning Is Done”.

Everyone has a box of rags that they used for cleaning. It is well worth it to invest in good cleaning rags because using the wrong rag for the wrong purpose could make cleaning even more difficult.

Terry Cloth Cotton Towels:
Terry Cloth towels are used for tough stains such as mold or mildew and for cleaning water stains. They are not good for cleaning mirrors or chrome because they could leave lint or smear delicate surfaces.

Microfiber Cloth:
Microfibers towels are made making use of small cotton as well as polyamide materials. Microfiber towels are great for general use and on smooth surfaces such as mirrors and chrome. Microfiber is tremendously soft and incredibly versatile. Technology-not only in order to any kind of service. In terms of sturdiness, that lasts lengthier when compared with an ordinary natural cotton cloth.

Cleansing of microfiber does not require any kind of detergents so you will probably be amazed how it does the particular washing without using any kind of detergent. Also, simply no cleaning agent is used. As a result, you can save lots of bucks from getting liquids over time.

The large intake capacity of microfiber can make it best when washing home windows. It is a lot more beneficial as it can hold liquid up to 7 times of how heavy it is plus more so it results in absolutely no lines after washing. Microfiber can be advisable to completely clean virtually any leaking liquid (water, whole milk, acrylic) because it lowers using papers bath towel thus saving you money in the long run.

Purchasing a hot water heater can be a difficult decision because it’s not like buying an appliance. We get calls from people who say I need to replace my water heater and I want one exactly like the old one. The average water heater last 15 to 20 years, are you sure you want technology that old?

There are many options on water heaters, there is electric, gas, tankless, instant heat and various sizes. Even though most houses have a 40 gallon hot water heater, needs change and maybe it’s better to get a larger hot water heater.

Natural gas hot water heaters are also extremely well-liked among home owners due to the fact they reach their set temperature far more than twice as rapidly as an electric water heater does. That signifies that you could almost certainly run the dishwasher right after your morning shower and nonetheless have hot water, not lukewarm water.

Most of these factors will center on your family’s lifestyle. For example: If you have a household member who is notorious for taking extended, very hot showers, or if you have to run the dishwasher, washing machine and take a shower at the exact same time and in the handful of hours that you get to invest at house, you could want to buy a larger gas water heater than is recommended for your family size.

Because there are so many options with Hot Water Heaters and different way to install them, we offer a free analysis of your home, your needs, and the best way to install your new hot water heater so it meets your needs.

Call Glover Plumbing for a free evaluation of your hot water needs.

It seems that most houses have difficult places to clean. High ceilings and hidden corners seem to be dust magnets in some homes.

We have seen difficult cleaning areas with vaulted ceilings and with high windows. Some home owners resort to throwing wet towel’s and hoping they magically hit the right spot and the towel cleans the corner. Often times, this makes the problem worse.

By ignoring cleaning in these spots, they collect more and more dust and causes the problem to look worse. If you aren’t experience in using a high ladder, the wrong type of ladder could cause marks on the wall and take out dry wall.

Glover Cleaning can help home owners clean those hard to reach areas regardless if they are on high vaulted ceilings or huge bay windows. Call us today to get to those hard to reach areas and make your home clean for Spring.

If you live in Utah, you know that you have to cover every square inch of your grounds with something or weeds will pop up. Ground cover offers the ability to down on top of weed fabric and enhance the beauty of your out door area. There are many types of ground covers to choose from.

Mulch Ground Cover:
Mulch has many benefits including preventing loss of water from the soil by evaporation. Mulch keeps the soil cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter, thus maintaining a more even soil temperature. Mulches prevent the trunks of trees and shrubs from damage by lawn equipment. Mulches also can help prevent soil compaction. Mulches can add to the beauty of the landscape by providing a cover of uniform color and interesting texture to the surface. The disadvantage of mulch is that it needs to be replaced annually and it discolors over time.

Rock Ground Cover:
Rock ground cover gives you various options on color and look. Rock last longer than mulch and can maintain it’s beauty. The disadvantage of rock is that it could cut through the weed fabric and cause weeds to pop up within the rock.

Ground Cover Plants:
Ground cover plants are the most natural looking and there are many options to enhance the beauty of your lawn. The disadvantage of ground cover plants is that they need to be maintained so weeds don’t grow between them. They also need different type of fertilizer and weed prevention than grass.

Call Glover Commercial Landscape to see how we can make your grounds look beautiful with the right ground cover.

Calling a cleaning business and saying “I need to get my house cleaned” is like going to a car dealership and saying I need to buy a car. Just like the various types of cars, there are different kind of cleanings. The four most popular types of cleaning are general, top-to-bottom, recurring, and move in/move out.

General Cleaning:
General cleaning works best for someone who is on a budget or someone who needs a cleaning before an event. In general, general cleaning includes the following:

Wipe down surfaces like counters, appliances, and floors.

Scrub toilets, sinks, tubs & showers

Spot clean walls, baseboards, light switches, doors

Vacuuming floors and mopping hard surfaces

Plus, dusting surfaces

Top-To-Bottom Cleaning:
If your house hasn’t been cleaned in a while or if needs extra cleaning, you probably need top-to-bottom cleaning. Top-to-bottom cleaning is a little more than General Cleaning, but the cleaning is more indepth and includes General Cleaning, plus

They clean from the floor to the ceiling including scrubbing the baseboards and window sills

Recurring Cleaning:
Recurring cleaning generally involves a regular scheduled cleaning. This allows us to focus on certain areas and rotate on each visit. Recurring cleanings are the lowest price per visit, because it takes less time per visit because we know what areas has been cleaned in the past and what future areas we will be focusing on.

Move in/Move out Cleaning:
Moving cleaning is often a very involved process. We usually use a larger cleaning crew to reduce the cleaning time. Moving cleaning is most efficient when the furniture is removed and our cleaners have access to the baseboards and all areas.

Call Glover Cleaning and we can customize a cleaning to meet your needs.
